Our Story

As many of you know, we originally started out from small beginnings selling quilts way back in 1985.  In the early days we traded as the Quilt Centre and more recently as QC Interiors.

Since then we've strived to build a better business - one step at a time - by really talking to our customers and understanding what they want.

Although we have built up a strong following of fabric aficionados, we really felt that it was time to create a new brand that really communicated who we are and what we do best. The idea of the Fabulous Fabric Company was born and the rest as they say is history.

Our refurbished showroom is situated in an Old Irish dance hall, nestled in the Sullane Valley in the picturesque small town of Ballymakeera in West Cork.  It's a special kind of place - a place where people still have time for one another and everybody knows your name.

You could say that we have the biggest range in Ireland but we don't really want to be the biggest we really just want to be the best. With over 100 different supplier books on hand we have an eclectic and diverse variety of fabrics for you to chose from.
